This offbeat comedy revolves around Gopi, a penniless young man who has inherited nothing but a broken-down bus from his father, who used to be a popular drama artiste. Gopi and his friend Papi live in the bus and hope to convert it into a food truck. In order to do this, they apply for a bank loan which gets approved, much to their joy and they even get the first instalment of Rs. 25,000 in cash.
Suddenly, a young tribal woman enters into their bus and turns their lives upside down. They are both very sympathetic towards the beautiful stranger as she seems very innocent and Papi tries to get her a job in Dubai. However, when the job turns out to be a human trafficking racket, Gopi ends up spending the amount they received from the bank in order to ensure her safety.
The tribal woman returns to live with them, but on one day, they realise that she carries a gun. When they probe into her true identity, she admits that she is Gayatri the daughter of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, but had become fed up of her controlling father and decided to lead a life of freedom as a runaway.
Gayatri slowly begins to fall in love with Gopi and decides to sacrifice her freedom for the fulfilment of his dream. She contacts her father and agrees to marry the man of his choice in return for Rs. 5 Lacs being deposited into Gopi's bank account. How will Gopi react to the windfall? Will he accept the money go on with his life or risk everything by going after Gayatri?
