Embedded with charged emotions and deep-rooted social concepts, this family-oriented drama delves into the life of Shalini, a beautiful young woman from a large Brahmin family. When she falls in love with Ashok their marriage is rejected as he's from a lower caste, and Shalini is forced to sacrifice her future with him.
When her father becomes unable to support her four sisters and three brothers, it falls upon Shalini to go out into the world, work, and earn to support the family. Shalini bravely shoulders the burden and ensures that all her brothers and sisters are settled well in life.
