Chased out of their village, Shiv Charan Sharma, a poor farmer, his wife, son and daughter attempt to survive the harsh footpath life of Bombay, when a gangster asks him to work for him. In a twist of fate, he meets Munna, an orphan. Shiv and Munna work together and transform themselves into hardened gangsters As years go by, Shiv Charan Sharma becomes a mafia kingpin. Aslam Pathan and Billa Singh Thakur, rival mafia bosses plot to kill Shiv because they want his position. Munna falls in love with Razia, who is the daughter of Aslam Pathan. She runs away with him and they get married. Aslam Pathan takes his revenge by getting Gogia Advani to sell drugs to Shiv Charan Sharma, effectively damaging his reputation. Shiv Charan Sharma refuses, but Munna seems interested. Shiv Charan Sharma is shot down to ensure that Munna will be at the helm of affairs, but all hell breaks lose. Shiv's son, Rohan who had been strictly kept away from the business, makes this entry with girlfriend Neha. Rohan then murders Gogia Advani to avenge his father's death, with the help of Munna. Now Rohan is on the run and meets Ganga and they fall in love, but due to circumstances Rohan cannot be with her. 4 years later, Rohan becomes Don. Munna has a family. Sharad Joshi accepts a contract from Aslam Pathan and Billa Singh Thakur to kill Shiv Charan Sharma and Munna, but it is up to Rohan to destroy all of them.
