Adipan (1989)

Embedded with fast paced action and intense emotion, this crime drama delves into the twists and turns in the life of Shyam Prakash, who is a well established criminal lawyer. He works as a legal adviser to underworld kingpin, Kaimal, who has intimate connections with corrupt officials in the police department department and with politicians and never loses any case. He falls in love with a singer, Radhika which is followed by a series of his amusing encounters with the Doordarshan Kendra, Radhika, Radhika's father etc. with regard to his love for her. Shyam Prakash has a teacher (Mash in Malayalam) who is a father figure to him and treats his daughter like his own sister. Mohan, Kaimal's son rapes and murders Mash's daughter, much to Shyam Prakash's devastation, as he loved the young woman as his own sister. Consequently, Shyam Prakash parts ways with Kaimal and pledges to destroy him and his son for what they did to Mash San his daughter's. A sequence of court cases including surprises and shocks also with Shyam Prakash's expert and master presentation of the case follows. Will Shyam Prakash be able to exact revenge upon Mohan and Kaimal?
