Agrajan (1995)

Interspersed with humour, this family-oriented drama follows the twists and turns in the life of P. T. Joseph, a media tycoon and editor in chief of Malayala Boomi, a popular Malayalam newspaper. P. T. Joseph, being a passionate man of great vision and decides to start a new edition of the newspaper. This causes fear in the hearts of his competitors, Raju and Madhava Kuti, the sons of the founder of Kairali, another leading newspaper. With their father, Govindan Nair incapacitated in mind and body after a stroke, the brothers decide to take desperate measures to ensure their failure of the new edition.They arrange for Joseph to be critically wounded in an accident. On his death bed, Joseph speaks about his past and how he began his career working for Govindan Nair. He speaks about how they became enemies and he went off on his own. Then appears Aravindan, a brave and fearless man. The crux of the tale delves into the intense enmity between the owners of the two newspapers.
