Kenny, a Medan Chinese man falls in love with a Batak Melayu Muslim girl named Fidya. Their different religious and cultural backgrounds cause more complications in their love life. It is made worse when Kenny's parents want him to marry his fiancee Chelsea Tan whom he has been separated from for several years meanwhile Fidya's old love Fahri has returned from Turkey, where he has been studying Islam. Kenny and Fidya must make a decision on whether to continue their relationship or marry the partners that their parents have decided for them.
