Andhamaina Maya (2015)

When their car breaks down, Akhil and his friends step into the woods nearby in search of water only to be brutally and mercilessly murdered by a paranormal force.

Karthick is a carefree youngster who works in an IT firm and lives happily with his parents. He dreams of finding a cultured woman from a traditional family, who will love him for himself and keep his parents happy. He falls in love at first sight with Maya, who initially rebuffs him, but finally succumbs to his perseverant wooing.

However, Maya is imprisoned in her home by killers and when Karthick tries to rescue her, they are both brutally murdered, their bodies carried in sacks and buried in the woods, in the middle of nowhere.

Now, three young couples decide to escape the busy atmosphere of the city and travel for the weekend to stay in an isolated bungalow in a picturesque, natural setting. Unfortunately, their choice leads them into the same territory haunted by the wrathful spirit that is out to tear them all apart. Can the haunted area be cleansed once and for all?
