Anjaam (1952)

Ashok is a well educated, wealthy son of a Jamindar family and is also a Womanizer. Ashok has many girlfriends and he cheats on them. He comes across a woman named Shyama who loved him and falls for his mistaken love. When Ashok ignores and rejects her, she loses her sanity and chases him. Ashok tries to flee from her and while travelling in a first class compartment comes in contact with Shobha who despises his flirtish ways and even slaps him. Ashok plans to marry her and takes Revenge on her. Ashok approaches her father and succeeds in winning her hand. Unable to go against her father, Shobha tries to run away on her wedding day during which she meets with one of Ashok's exploits, who informs her that she can cure Ashok's ways and teach him a lesson. Shobha decides to marry Ashok and plans to teach him a lesson.
