Rick, a little boy, adorns his own world with his paintings and paper-cuttings. Like other kids , he also wants to be in a warm nest filled with affection and playfulness. But the grim confrontation between his parents puts a mark of fright and frustration on his tender mind. The in-depth impact of regular domestic conflicts makes him feel like encaged. Rick longs for his best friend Bubun, who has left the neighborhood to a far-off place. The sequence of events paints the pain of Rick. In a letter to Bubun , he metaphorically depicts his own fate and languishment. His note ends with a dream of reunion with his dearest friend and a freedom from his world of morbid despair towards a happy togetherness.
