Minam is getting married on the same day as her IAS exam and while she is feeling the pressure of having both, she wants her marriage to be a smooth affair as well. Minam’s friends Chanbi, and Upasana with the help of their boyfriends Bendang and Zorem set out to throw her a surprise wedding party. Her friends intend to cook her favorite north-eastern delicacy from Nagaland called - 'Akhuni' (Pork), which leaves a pungent odor that may not be favorable to the entire neighborhood in New Delhi. Determined to make her day special her friends decide to cook the dish no matter the odds. 'Axone' exposes the daily struggles and stereotypes a north-eastern is subjected to.
