Azaadi Ki Ore (1986)

A monkey couple, Shankar(male) and Gauri(female) are owned by a madari(animal handler), along with other animals. They are treated inhumanly by the handler, while they have to perform in his circus to earn money for him. Tired of slavery, ill-treatment, hunger and humiliation by their master, the pair decide to break free from their shackles. This film is about their adventurous journey to freedom, freedom from human kind and their mean behavior, a freedom towards wilderness.
