The news of 25-year-old Nakul Kaushik’s middle-aged mother’s pregnancy comes as a shock to the entire Kaushik household. Everyone’s gaze is now turned towards the family which has to deal with social embarrassment. What follows is a phase of resentment and emotional confusion for Nakul as he goes through ups-and-downs in his relationships with his father, mother, feisty grandmother; teenaged brother, fiancée-colleague Renee and others. Torn between public embarrassment and love for his family, especially his mother, he tries to come to terms with the idea of his parents’ active sex life and the idea of family itself.
