Bahadur, an honest and fearless man arrives from a faraway village to work in a wealthy household of Calcutta city. He carries with him the grief of having lost his young son, Jeet. Despite having very little knowledge of the Bengali language and the lifestyle in the city, Bahadur makes every effort to learn and earn the love and approval from all the family members.
Prashanto, a long-term and trusted employee of the owner is actually deeply corrupt and creates division between the owner and his son, Anand. Bahadur is routinely disrespected and treated with suspicion. However, he receives love from Raju, the owner's grandson and Pooja, his daughter.
Over time, Bahadur forms a deep bond with them. How will Bahadur's relationship with the different members of the family unfold? What kind of sacrifices must he make to prove his loyalty to the family? Will he succeed in winning their love and approval or will he be sent back home?
