Khudiram Thakur is a religious man who is considered by all as a spiritual guide and divine person. He leads a simple life with his family, comprising of his wife, son, Ram Kumar and daughter Kathyayini.

Khudiram Thakur is instructed to meet with Ramanand Rai, who is arrogant as he is the most wealthy landowner in the area. When Khudiram Thakur refuses to bend to Ramanand Rai's wishes, he uses all his power to throw Khudiram Thakur and his family out of the area.

However, Khudiram Thakur and his family are given sanctuary by a kind person, and in their new abode, their second son, Gadadhar is born. He exhibits divine qualities from the beginning and this evocative tale traces his extraordinary life, highlighting his inherent divinity, the miraculous events that took place and his complete devotion to God.
