Boss (2013)

At a time when the Mumbai Police Commissioner has made a proud and public announcement that the much dreaded 'Mafia Raj' has been completely wiped out in the city, and there are no underworld 'Bhai’s' left in Mumbai, a rookie named Surya lands in the country’s commercial capital with an intention to become a Mafia Don. His friend receives him and brings him to Dharavi. He offers him shelter and tells him that he would soon find him a job so that he can settle down in life. However, Surya wants to carve an identity for himself, by reorganizing Mumbai's Mafia Raj and to eventually rule Mumbai's underworld. He also says that he is in Mumbai to make it piss. Meanwhile, he also knowingly tries to get romantically involved with Rusha, daughter of the police commissioner. In the process, he actually falls in love with the girl and tries to gain her acceptance. In due course, Surya become popular among Dharavi's locals. He comes across as an extortionist, a baron, a philanthropist and an entrepreneur. He uses his brain and brawn to grow and become successful in Mumbai. He plays with idiosyncrasies of the governmental system and preys upon greedy politicians to expand his business. How he fulfills his original dream and ambition of becoming a don and emerges as a mafia kingpin is depicted in the movie.
