Vijay falls in love with Kaveri, a girl from Singapore. There is a twist in the tale when Nisha, the daughter of a don, falls in love with him, however Vijay is not interested. The don uses his muscle power and forces him to marry his daughter. Vijay narrates how he has fallen in love with Kaveri and that she is suffering from memory loss after a car accident in Singapore and that she does not have anyone to look after her. The don feels sympathetic and leaves him, saying he would convince his daughter to forget him. In the second half of the film, there is a message of friendship. Childhood friends Amar, Vijay's father, Ramesha, Vishwanath, Apparao and others come together for a reunion. Kaveri, Vishwanath's daughter, also comes to Amar's house where the reunion is being held. Here Vijay and Kaveri's romance starts.
