Trivia:
The filmmakers used the same script the original Cabin Fever (2002) was based on.

The theme from The Shining (1980) can be heard as the camera follows the car down the lane in the exact same fashion as the opening from "The Shining".

Not a sequel, but an almost-shot-by-shot reboot of the 2002 film of the same name.

The bedding on Marcy & Jeff's bed has virtually the same decor as it's counterpart in the original movie: a blood-red floral design, with the under-bedding being white or near-white in color.
