Dywayne Thomas, MA, BFA, HNDip, Hon. DHL, DPA, (born May 17) is a London based actor, producer and Karateka from the United Kingdom.
He is known for starring in Surveilled, Rise of the Footsoldier 4, Ties of the Ribbon, Bodyguard and Pennyworth. He is also an Associate Producer of Raya Films produced feature films, Casting Kill and Cyberlante.
Thomas has a Black belt in Karate and is a winner of multiple Karate championship awards. He is a former Junior British Team and Individual Kata Champion, who represented the London Goju Ryu Karate team between 1987 and 1992.
EARLY LIFE
Thomas was born in the late 1970s in London, England, to parents, Patricia Thomas and Winston Thomas, both of Caribbean and African ancestry.
Thomas is the third eldest of six children. He was raised in Hackney, east London, and studied at Gayhurst Primary School, where he first got the buzz for acting.
International TV Presenter (and a longtime family friend) Jasmine Harman, also attended the same junior high school as Thomas.
Thomas later attended Cardinal Pole Roman Catholic School in Hackney. He studied at Cardinal Pole at the same time as professional footballer Darren Purse.
He loves to travel to exotic destinations and paint eye catching landscapes in his spare time.
ACTING CAREER
Thomas began his professional acting career appearing in numerous dance & musical theatre performances at a very early age. His most notable performance was the 1986 production of "The Pied Piper" starring Sylvester McCoy at the National Theatre, Southbank in London, England.
Thomas trained at the famous Identity School of Acting in Brixton and Gray's Inn, London. He also did his Screen Action training at the British Action Academy in England.
Thomas is currently preparing for a new supporting role of Mario Colombo in upcoming feature film 'Mia.'
He will be featured in the SURVEILLED movie by RAYA Films and most recently he was featured as a Boxing Judge in Rise of the Footsoldier 4: Marbella, which got released towards the end of last year.
He has appeared in the following feature films: Hello Au Revoir, Catylist and Rise of the Footsoldier Marbella. He also plays a part in the horror production, “Ted Bundy Had a Son” and is also an Associate Producer for the docu-drama “Banned, Exploited & Blacklisted: The Underground Work of Controversial Filmmaker Shane Ryan, which includes Clint Eastwood’s daughter, Kathryn Eastwood and Jonah Hill.

Thomas holds an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree, an Honorary Doctor of Performing Arts degree, a Master of Arts in Fine Art from the University of Hertfordshire, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Fashion Design and Technology from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, formerly The London Institute.
He is an Alumnus of the Alumni of the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
