EREHWON is a short animation made as completion requirement for a diploma from NID, Ahmedabad. The animation is an attempt at shadow puppetry using software puppets and classical animation techniques. The visuals are inspired from folktales, Russian films and modernist architecture. In a distant land (the history of which lies buried under layers of stories that have long since turned to nonsense) there is a house. The boy who lives in this house wanders off into a forest nearby, and is enamored by a bird.
