Evening Shadows (2019)

Vasudha's world comes crashing down when her beloved son Kartik comes out to her as gay. Being in a small town in Southern India that lives in a cocoon of traditions and social morality, she finds herself alone with her fears and doubts, unable to understand her son’s truth. As a woman trapped within a patriarchal system, she also has to face the challenges posed by her dogmatic husband Damodar as well as the conservative society around her.
