'Game Over' was filmed under the working title of 'Mario'. The character of Swapna was supposed to sport a mario tattoo, but it was later changed to a joystick tattoo.
Taapsee Pannu had to remain on the wheelchair for almost eight to twelve hours, as it took a lot of effort to wear and remove the leg braces.

A special rig was designed and attached to Taapsee's wheelchair to ensure that the camera movement is completely dictated by how she would move around. There were both frontal and back rig to shoot both side perspectives.
