Trivia:
Kader Khan wrote the original script for the film, but the script was changed after he had a falling out with director Manmohan Desai.

The movie was originally a three hero project, with Rishi Kapoor playing a hero. But with the change in script, Rishi Kapoor ended up being dropped from the film.

It is believed that Mithun Chakraborty was upset that director Manmohan Desai was playing favourites with Amitabh Bachchan, and refuses to dub his dialogues as a result.

Rishi Kapoor was not informed when he was dropped after the script change. This hurt him because he had known director Manmohan Desai for a long time.
