There is a belief in India that the rivers Gangaa, Jamunaa and Saraswathi our holy and pious, and their unique merger, is popularly known as "Sangam". Likewise the characters of our story Gangaa, Jamunaa and Saraswathi desire to meet and merge in each other's love.
Gangaa and Jamunaa begin to love each other and pledge to become one, In the meantime, Saraswati silently loves Gangaa, and dedicates her life to him. However there are many, who would like to separate the happy lovers.
Due to Hansraj's evil machinations Jamuna separates from Gangaa. Jamuna reaches Shanker's home, Shanker who already loved her becomes extremely happy finding Jamuna in his home.
Just as Saraswati begins to come close to Ganga, Hansraj comes into the picture once more with destruction in mind. He has already swindled the property of Ganga's father by illegal means, and desirous to get rid of the rightful owner, he gets Ganga shot. With Ganga badly wounded Hansraj seems to be the victor. Will Ganga survive and wreak vengeance upon Hansraj? How will events unfold in the love triangle between Ganga, Jamuna and Saraswati?
