Garib (1942)

Unemployed Sharad finds work accompanying a blind beggar, meets with Sudha who is a heiress and daughter of Industrialist Biharilal who owns the shelter he stays at. Sharad decides to use his friendship with Sudha to get the rent lowered and set a factory where his people can work. The factory is a success but trouble starts when Sudha's fiance Satish, who cheats on Sudha with a woman named Lata. Satish starts creating problems for Sharad but shutting down the factory and accusing Sharad to have a relationship with Lata. The problems will be solved when Lata and Sudha meet and realize the common problem they have.
