Hallimukka (2023)

The film follows the story of three naive friends from a village whose lives take a dark turn after they fall prey to deception, sacrificing their futures for fleeting moments of happiness. Achu, a simple villager who drives a rented auto, meets Kavita, a woman he falls deeply in love with. However, when Achu unknowingly carries money meant for his sister's wedding, Kavita betrays him by orchestrating his arrest and stealing the money. Meanwhile, Achu's friend Karthik becomes involved in a fatal affair with Gowda's wife, resulting in Gowda's murder and Karthik's imprisonment. As Achu's other friend mourns the downfall of both, the film explores the consequences of their choices and the fragility of trust.
