Horse & Rider: A Journey Towards Freedom (2012)

Horse & Rider is a non-conventional look into an increasingly conventional industry of trafficking minors for sex. Shot on location in India in 2011, this narrative documentary traces the tangled memories of two survivors of child prostitution, and the NGO that is working for their restoration back into society. Award-winning Director Ben Stamper draws heavily upon monumental cinematography and a lush musical score to explore the complexities of rescuing minors from brothels and their subsequent journey of healing and reintegration.
