Imbam (2023)

Fifty-five-year-old Karunakaran is the editor-in-chief of a quaint publishing house called Shabdam, nestled in the city of Kozhikode. Determined to modernize the organization, Karunakaran finds unexpected help in the form of Nidhin Samuel, a spirited cartoonist, and Kathambari, the daughter of a late friend. However, their efforts are threatened when a local politician, Premarajan, seeks to take control of Shabdam. Together, Karunakaran, Nidhin, and Kathambari rally against this threat, fighting to preserve their beloved sanctuary and the happiness it brings. Alongside them is Maithili Swaminathan, a renowned writer with ties to Karunakaran's past, adding depth to their united front against adversity.
