The sole heir to a vast inheritance is forced by enemies to lead the life of an orphan on the streets. He befriends another homeless youth, and works hard to become well educated, but his friend adopts a life of crime. Will their close bond survive against all odds?
After Kuber arranges the death of Rajnagar's Raja Dharamsingh and his young son, he undertakes to look after Dharamsingh's wife, Radha, and daughter, Meena, in order to usurp their wealth. The son, Veeru, survives, and together with another homeless youth, Raju, gets a good education, while the latter ends up driving a truck.
Years later, Raju is extremely disappointed that Veeru has taken to a life of crime, and this causes conflict between the childhood friends. Also, their lives are further complicated when they face-off against Cobra, a violent gangster. How will the duo tackle the menace of Cobra? Will they succeed in ironing out their differences and defeat the powerful Cobra? Will Veeru ever come to know of his past and Cobra's role in destroying his family?
The film is a remake of the Telugu movie Adavi Simhalu (1983).
