James and Alice (2016)

This contemporary family drama revolves aroun James (Prithviraj Sukumaran), who is a talented corporate filmmaker. He is successful in the field of advertising.

He falls in love with Alice (Vedhika), who is a bank employee. Her father, who is traditional and conservative and his thinking objects to their relationship as he believes James has no career. With no other option, the couple are forced to elope and marry against the will of Alice's father.

Seven years later, they have a happy marriage with a beautiful daughter. Both of them are tremendously successful in their chosen careers and find little time for each other. Lack of quality time begins to cause conflict and distance between them, leading them to file for divorce.

On the day before the divorce, James becomes severely injured in a freak accident, while driving his car. He is admitted at Believers Church Medical College and is diagnosed to be in a coma. At this critical juncture in his life, he has a vision of Saint Peter. Together, both of them review his life, delving into his mistakes and areas for improvement.

When she is informed that James does not have much chance for recovery, Alice decides to remove him from life support devices. Will James be blessed with a second chance at life? Can he repair his mistakes and recreate a happy life with his wife and daughter?
