Evocative and provocative, this multi-layered social drama revolves around Vasan, a sincere man who lost his parents at a very young age. With no education, he works hard to make ends meet, but is content with his lifestyle, doing odds for a local real estate businessman.

Life seems to be straightforward for Vasan until he falls in love with Mridula, a bold and beautiful woman, whom he quietly admires but never truly finds the courage to express his emotions to. An acquaintance of his boss, convinces him to clear some documents involving the conversion of agricultural land into land for construction. He promises to give him a huge commission, should he successfully complete the task.

Driven by the desire for quick cash, Vasan employs illegal and improper means to get the documents approved, but his actions have tremendous repercussions. With his boss and everyone around him angry with him, can Vasan find a way to redeem himself? Does he have any hope of marrying the girl of his dreams? How will his future unfold?
