Where did you watch this movie?

Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly.

Jurassic world,in spite of being technically and technologically far superior is not a patch on the version1 that released way back in the 90'S.The casting is quite bland..Irfan Khan is let down by a weakly written part, Bryce Dallas Howard with an avengers style haircut, red hair not to mention and a barbie in office attire(not to forget the high heels) is robotic and the dishy Chris Patt is all good as long as he is swinging into action and flexing his muscles and not mouthing those corny lines.
The film's far more engaging moments come when the Dinos are splendidly captured and the mammoth beasts wreck havoc when being being chased and killed for sport by the latest genetic and far too intelligent and fearless hybrid version of T.Rex escapes from captivity and snowballs the events. The film's deliciously action packed last half an hour is alone worth the price of the ticket..I am not giving out any spoilers here.JW makes for the ideal popcorn fare here and also ensures moments of heart pounding tension and many jump out from your seat moments.Dino power rules again.

Trivia:
Steven Spielberg had shot the first Jurassic Park in 1.85:1 aspect ratio, which was also used in the second and third installments. Spielberg wanted the same for Jurassic World, but director Colin Trevorrow wanted to shoot in epic 2.39 widescreen. The compromise was 2:1 — an infrequently used format, but one that maintained some degree of consistency with the previous films, while adding the widescreen scope Trevorrow desired.

The T-rex in the film is the same one from the original Jurassic Park (1993).

Executive Producer Steven Spielberg's came up with the idea for the gyrosphere, which allowed park visitors to navigate it themselves.

In the Season 2 Parks and Recreation (2009) DVD, Chris Pratt made a behind the scenes video where he reads a fake text from Steven Spielberg about being cast in Jurassic Park IV. Pratt was eventually cast as the lead in Jurassic World, which is the fourth Jurassic Park movie.

The new dinosaur "Indominus Rex" features a Velociraptor-like stance and an Allosaurus-like head.
