Trivia:
Director J.A. Bayona used an iPod to play different types of music on set to inspire the actors for certain scenes.

Director J. A. Bayona revealed that even though he played John Williams' iconic Jurassic Park theme and music from composer Michael Giacchino, he couldn't allow himself to get wrapped up in the nostalgia of it all.

Director J.A. Bayona stated that making the film was the biggest challenge of his life.

Baryonyx was supposed to be the main antagonist dinosaur of Jurassic Park III, but was replaced by its larger relative Spinosaurus. However, they did add the Baryonyx's signature snout to the Spinosaur.

The film features more dinosaurs than any other of previous films in the series. Animatronics were reused for many of the dinosaurs.

The first three Jurassic Park films had been shot in Steven Spielberg's 1.85:1 aspect ratio, and Jurassic World (2015) compromised at a 2:1 ratio. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, however, dropped that crucial element of Spielberg’s original cinematographic vision, with new director J.A. Bayona opting for a blockbuster standard 2.39:1.
