KAATRU VELIYIDAI (KV) review by Arun oliver
KV, reminds me that cinema is all about visual communication .
KV’s visual communication which is at par to Hollywood standard , will haunt you and hunt you down.
A treat to the viewer’s eye.
Landscape’s of snow ,green trees covered with the colour of white ,fighter aircraft's , mountains, prisons, heart throbbing Kiriti and Adithi roa ,takes you to a world filled with the feeling of Euphoria.

Story:
The story revolves around Kirhti, who fights against PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), which is common among veterans.
If he doesn’t control his impulses, that often leed’s to emotional abuse of HIS GIRL Adithi Roa, his relationship is at stake!

Aditi Rao
Your My GIRL! Rite from the beginning you feel that she is your GIRL.
The introduction scene of Aditi on her train to Srinagar ,looking out of the window,as snow pellets fall , makes your heart leap out of its rib cage.
Karthi would say ,”I still remember the first time i saw her , injured at a road accident ,on my hospital bed , and when my ,closed eyes twitched on the sick bed , i saw the most beautiful face treating me”.
Her first ride on the fighter plane , the sounds of fighter planes trigging memory of kirthi , her trip to Leh airbase & the first time she experiences the negative side of kirthi, are all fantastic scenes.
No sense of conflict is observed in Aditis reciprocity to Karthi’s flirtation. She is head over heals ,crazy in love with the first patient she has ever treated . Reminds me of the movie NOTEBOOK, that kind off a romance you feel . She loves him no matter what flaws he has, raw love to the only one who addresses her as “MY GIRL”
Aditi will henceforth be called as “Adithi of KV fame”

Karthi:
The clean shave of his mustache enhances his character of a Fighter plane Military officer & a romantic Play Boy.
Karthi’s dual personality is the heart of his characterization, a lover boy with a mental health problem.
His often tiffs with Adithi is expressed by a classic dialogue from Karthi to Adhiti saying
“i take peoples life as a soldier, you give life as a doctor, we are different! ”

Cinematography by Ravi Varman
The web is talking of the visual treat presented by KV movie and the credit goes to ace cinematographer Ravi Varman.
The master of the craft , ensures every scene emotes the rite sense of feel that the scene demands.
The sets used for every scene deserves a standing ovation.

nice and again and again he proven his level the great director
The movie was very decent. A decent romance again. Aditi Rao was the best. Karthi was good too. Nallai allai song was not in the movie - a big shock. Azhagiyae was well choreographed.
