"Kafir" narrates the inner turmoil of Reghuram, a health inspector plagued by pogonophobia, convinced that all terrorists sport beards and distinctive attire. His misconceptions surface when he wrongly implicates Hyder, a Madrasa teacher, in a bombing incident, subjecting him to relentless torture based on Reghuram's flawed testimony. Witnessing the unjust treatment of Hyder's family, Reghuram confronts his error and endeavors to rectify it, ultimately securing Hyder's release from police custody.
