"Koli Esru" depicts the rustic tale of Chickeri, residing in a humble household, earning her living by working from one house to another. Determined to fulfill her daughter's longing, Chickeri ventures to another household in search of the coveted broth. However, uncertainties loom over whether Lakshmi's desire will be realized upon Chickeri's return with the chicken broth.
