Kuthood (2024)

Kanjan Panicker, a revered Theyyam artist, faces tragedy when his daughter Usha is assaulted by Sudhakaran, a local landlord. Despite his son's desire for revenge, Panicker's restraint surprises all. Learning of Usha's pregnancy, he confronts Sudhakaran, whose guilt leads to a hasty marriage to another. Usha's childhood friend, Mohan, steps in to marry her, yet his insecurity drives him away, leaving Usha to confront the past alone. Tragedy strikes again when government officials demand their land, leading to Panicker's demise as he grapples with sentiment and loss.
