Lasyam (TBA)

This documentary captures the efforts of Mohiniyattam exponent Dr. Sunanda Nair, who is trying to make the art more beautiful by imbibing Kerala's own dance tradition. 'Mohiniyattam' had originated and grew in Kerala with Lasyam or love as its central feature. A recipient of Kerala Sangeetha Natak Akademi Puraskar, Dr. Sunanda believes that to make the dance form modern and contemporary, other Kerala arts and musical instruments have to be utilized.
