Lawrence Ram is an Indian Film Director turned Actor and Producer who works predominantly in the Tamil and Malayalam Film Industries. He has worked as an Associate Director with renowned Film Director Mr. S.J Surya for over nine years in various film projects. Ram has also contributed as a Co-Director with famous National award winner, Tamil Film writer & Director Mr. M. Rathna Kumar. He has collaborated with NSR Films as a Producer for the movies Vairam and Andhiponvettam in Malayalam Film Industry. Personal Details: Film Career: Lawrence’s journey as an Associate Director/ First Assistant Director with S J Suryah began with the Telugu movie - Khushi (2001), produced by A.M.Rathnam starring Pawan Kalyan and Bhumika Chawla as protagonists.. He worked in the hindi version of the movie as Khushi (2003) starring Fardeen Khan Kareena Kapoor. He worked as an Associate Director in the Telugu Project in 2001 and worked as the first Associate Director in the Hindi Project of the Khushi. His venture as an Associate Director continued with Director S J Suryah in his next movie Naani (2004), a Sci-Fi Story with actors Mahesh Babu and Ameesha Patel in their star debut. The movie was remade in Tamil as New (2004) starring S J Suyrah, Simran Bagga and Devayani. Following this the next project in Tamil was Ah Aah: Anbe Aruyirae in 2005, In 2012, Lawrence Ram worked with Writer and Director M. Rathnakumar for the movie Sengathu Bhoomiyilae as a Second Director, with Mirchi Senthil, Pavan, and Priyanka Nair in the casting crew. Lawrence Ram continued his venture as an Associate Producer in 2009 in association with Director S.P. Selvadurai, with leading actors like Pasupathy as part of the acting crew. He established himself as a Writer, Producer, Director, and Actor in Aruvadai (2018), a movie under the banner Elephant White Technologies, cast by Mirchi Senthil, Vaigha, Bharathikannan, Bharatha Naidu, and Hema Amirthalingam.
