Libaas (1988)

This Drama film is about married couples of urban India having extramarital relations and adultery. Sudhir is an eminent director who is married to his actress wife Seema, and often neglects his family. Seema is drawn to another man named TK who charms her, as this leads to an affair. Sudhir confronts them both and leaves. Seema is forced to live with TK and often contemplates her life with Sudhir. During a conversation she learns aboutn Sudhir's ill health and faltering career, decides to meet him. Seema's mother who had sacrificed her desires to make Seema feel secured informs her of her decision to be with Sudhir. Seema leaves to meet Sudhir but overhears a joyful laughter of her husband with another woman. Seema leaves and comes home to TK, surprised as he cancelled his tour for their first anniversary. Seema then realizes where she belongs.
