With splashes of humour, this commercial romantic comedy is a light-hearted portrayal of the trials and triumphs in the life of Vadivelu, who belongs to a small rural community. He leads a carefree existence with his friends, but also takes a strong stand against injustice and exploitation. The twist in the tale comes when his sister falls in love and marries a man from a wealthy background. When she faces objections from her husband's family Vadivelu must come to the rescue. Will he succeed in establishing a happy married life for his sister?
