70-year-old Mammali is the father of Anwar who died as a terrorist. In a remote village in Kerala, Mammali lives with his pregnant daughter-in-law Sherifa. Because of Anwar they have to travel every day to put their signature at the police station a little far away and this routine journey takes a toll on Mammali's health. They are isolated by society because of this label and even Sherifa's parents keep a distance from them. To put an end to their troubles, Mammali submits a memorandum to the President of India.
