Mangana Kaili Manikya (2013)

Manu, a film director, is selected by producer Prabhu to direct a movie called Kathriguppe. But he becomes blind due to the tension of making the movie. Fearing that he would lose the job, he keeps his blindness a secret. Comedy sequences follow when Manu addressing the heroine looking elsewhere, approving the shots without looking at the monitor, and selecting costumes for the lead roles. But one day everyone comes to know his secret. Though upset, producer Prabhu cashes in on the situation by announcing that a blind director is directing his movie. In another twist to the tale, Manu regains his eye sight but continues to act blind.
