Mastizade is a crap. Can't write anything abt story bcoz there is no story. Comedy is cheap & vulgar. Even such cheap dialogues weren't able to produce any humour. The trailer was better than the movie bcoz all the good scenes were shown in the trailer only. Tushar is loud. Sunny is same as she is in all her movies. Only vir das gives some good faces while dialogue delivery. Rom rom romantic is the only good song. A 1/5 movie for me

On February 3, 2016, protests flared in the Punjab city of Ludhiana, disrupting the screening and calling for the ban of this film.That same day, a complaint was filed with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) seeking a ban on the movie. It was based on the movie allegedly 'diminishing the dignity of wives and mothers of the Army men on duty.
The film was to release in May 2015 but got delayed by 8 months in censorship due to its adult content.
Sunny Leone plays dual role in this movie after Ek Paheli Leela (2015).
