In a rural village, Achal, a widow living with her in-laws, encounters Abhishek on a bus while they both head to appear for the IPS exam. Abhishek falls for her instantly but faces rejection initially. Despite this, he persists in befriending her. Eventually, Achal reciprocates his feelings, leading to their budding romance. However, their happiness is threatened when Achal is kidnapped by Vijay's brother, Raja, who also loves her. Abhishek rescues Achal and his parents, defeating Raja and ensuring his arrest. Abhishek then marries Achal, marking the triumph of their love over adversity.
