Miss Tibet in Exile (2007)

'Miss Tibet in Exile' is a 40 minutes long documentary film about the controversial Tibetan beauty pageant in India, Miss Tibet. It is an event condemned by Beijing as well as the Tibetan exile Govt. The film chronicles the struggle of a Tibetan refugee youth, Lobsang Wangyal in his attempt to host the yearly beauty pageant in Dharamsala, India. Over years, the event has become one of the most sought after happenings among younger generation Tibetans.
