Priyesh who is an engineering graduate is the son of well-known Theyyam (a ritual are from of North Kerala) artist of village Kuruvakkunnu. He has no interest in the ritual arts followed by his father and used to roam lazily. The most interesting thing is that Priyesh who is not interested in Theyyam art falls in love with Nayana who respects and love Theyyam. She offered Priyesh to get married with him if he fulfills her wish. Priyesh started to cooperate with his father. To accomplish the dream of his girlfriend Priyesh decided to perform the sacred art that too in the “Tharavattu Kaavu” of his lover. But the performance was hang-up due to Nayana’s father’s interference as the came to know their love affair. After this incident Priyesh’s father Chathooty broke down mentally when he realized of his son’s selfishness. The great “Theyyam performer who considers Theyyam as a sacred one can’t even imagine how his son was ready to perform for his own advantage. At the same time Priyesh was estranged from his home also. Then Priyesh engages the issues related to his village quarries and lead the villagers to protest against the quarry owner. There after the movie tales the traps that he encounters, his revenges and consequent events.
