Naa Koliike Ranga is a Kannada film with a beautiful social message. In a village the protagonist Ranga lives with his mother. Ranga's mother Sanavava sings Sobane Pada in the village and takes care of him by doing housework. Ranga is innocent and helpful. Ranga Sukkuraja loves a chicken more than his own life. Wherever he goes, he takes that chicken with him. Ranga hangs out with his friends, misbehaves and is bad in the eyes of people. Amidst all this, Ranga, who was innocent, one night when he came to Patel's field in the town, he saw a man carrying a fire torch and fell down the ladder, unconscious and fell ill. Ranga's mother Sanavava tells the priest that she will give the reared chicken to the village deity Maramma in the form of benison to save her. Hero Ranga recovers after a few days as before. When the festival of the village deity comes, the hero is told by his mother that he should give the chicken to the temple in the form of benison. Hearing this his life is lost. Ranga takes it and leaves the town to save his chicken. His mother falls ill after hearing that Ranga has left home. In the end, how will Ranga save his mother and the chicken?
