Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu (2003)

This fast-paced romantic drama traces the twists and turns in the life of Sridhar, a final year college student who excels in sports like cricket and football. Due to his talents and bright attitude, he gets chosen during campus selections and is asked to travel to Mumbai for an interview.

During his return journey, he meets and falls in love with Preethi, but the youngsters are too shy to express their emotions. Before they know it, they get separated without any knowledge of each other's identity or contact details.

They desperately try to find each other, and Sridhar even goes to the extent of going to a live cricket match to see if Preethi might be present, as they are both ardent fans of the game. However, tragedy strikes as there is a bomb blast at the event, and Sridhar gets injured.

Concerned with Preethi's fragile state of mind, her parents convince her to forget about a man she knows nothing about, and arrange for her to be married to a bridegroom of their choice. Along similar lines, Sridhar's mother also urges him to concentrate on his studies.

At this juncture, Sridhar learns that Preethi is staying just behind his house, when her parents come to his house to inform the family of Preethi's upcoming marriage. Sridhar finds himself embroiled in emotionally charged family situations, including his mother's death, loses sight of Preethi and moves abroad on a job assignment.

Three years later, he returns home by train and serendipitously finds Preethi travelling in the same compartment. Will she be married? How will their relationship progress this time around?
