At 18, Nipun Dharmadhikari wrote and directed his first play ‘Cycle’ which won many Maharashtra State Awards. In 2009, he co-founded a youth theatre group named ‘Natak Company’. Recipient of the Damu Kenkre award (2011) as a ‘promising director’, he wrote and directed Marathi film Baapjanma in 2017.
