Based on Hindu religious texts, this devotional tale explores the history of the Chandravansh after Mahabharat more. This dramatic tale delves into a lesser known story depicting the adventures of Anniruddha, a grandson of Lord Krishna (son of Pradyumna).
This movie traces the complex sequence of events that unfold when Aniruddha is kidnapped and forcibly taken to Miser (Egypt) by Chitralekha for her best friend Okha (or Usha), it daemonic princess and daughter of Banasura. Okha is so impressed by Aniruddha's beauty and valour that she gets totally obsessed with him and is taken by the idea of marrying him. How will the future of the valourous Anniruddha unfold? Will he remain under the imprisonment of the daemonic princess, or will he escape to fulfil his destiny?
This is a rare Gujarati movie in which renowned movie director, Mahesh Bhatt acted in.
