Pachappu Thedi (2023)

The film follows the story of Jincy, the daughter of wealthy cattle trader Rappai, who elopes with Manu, a farmer with a master's degree, and settles in his home. However, Jincy's lack of domestic skills leads them to hire Malu, recommended by Sheeba teacher. As Manu indulges Jincy's every whim, he falls into significant debt, leading to conflicts with bankers over unpaid loans. Matters worsen when officials inform them that their home is in the buffer zone for railway development, rendering it unsellable. Facing despair, Manu considers suicide, but learns that Jincy is pregnant, dissuading him from such drastic measures with Malu's guidance. Meanwhile, Rappai, hospitalized due to dizziness, faces the news of losing his property for the railway project. When Jincy and Manu visit him, they receive the devastating news of Rappai's passing.
